 Blinds.com
is located right here in our hometown of Houston, TX. I actually
know someone that used to work there! Small world huh? Anyway,
Blinds.com rated # 3 in our
reviews as in our opinion, they are an online retail store (albeit,
the best in that regard), not a manufacturer. Yes, they offer
a Blinds.com brand that is made
for them, but they do not manufacture the product themselves,
it's just a private label name manufactured by an unknown factory
that is not owned by Blinds.com. However, their customer service
is great and if you're looking for a "name-brand"
product like Bali, Levolor, Hunter Douglas or Graber, Blinds.com
is the website for you.
Their website offers all the usual fare, how-to info for
measuring and installing your new blinds. You can rest assured
about your security as well, Blinds.com
is a member of Online BBB and HackerSafe Ceritified. They
have sale offers on their products that are easy to find on
their website. They even have a price comparison to Home Depot
and Lowes in the top right-hand corner of the home page. That
kind of info is handy to know!
The main reason they miss the mark as # 1 and # 2 in our
opinion is because they are not the actual manufacturer of
the product you're purchasing. To many people however, the
fact that they sell name-brand
window blinds at such low prices, shoots them right to
the top of the list. As you know, many people only want to
purchase name-brand window blinds.
On a general basis, if it wasn't for the fact that Blinds.com
is not the manufacturer, they would score a bit higher than
JustBlinds.com as their customer service lines, although not
24/7, are open until 9 p.m. during the week. And their website
out scores our #2 pick again because it is HackerSafe Certified.
All in all, if you're looking for "name-brand"
window blinds, then Blinds.com
is our # 1 pick. |
